Managed Backup & Data Restoration
To ensure your data is always safe and secure in cases of disaster or equipment failure. We implement a backup and data restoration service as part of your hosting solution to ensure your mission-critical data is available in the event of equipment failure or disaster. Data restoration is an easy and very quick process, as all of our machines have completely swappable drives, in addition to the fact that we have spare servers standing by ready for restoration.
Comprehensive Backup Process
In our backup process, the first phase of backup is to a large disk array. In the event of hardware failure, or restoration request, our ability to recover from complete machine failure is very fast. This large file server is then backed up to our Backup-Servers and then moved off-site once per week. This two-tiered back up process follows a schedule consisting of daily Level 1 (incremental) backups, and Level 0 (complete backups). The Level 0 backups are performed with a frequency consistent with an algorithm based on the amount of data on your specific boxes, which actually reduces the cost for your data restoration service.
Fast and Easy Data Restoration
We begin a data restoration as soon as you request a restoration of a specific file, or restoration from a specific time. While we will restore within twelve hours of a request, we always makes a best effort attempt to restore as soon as is possible. In the event of server or disk failure, Wwweb Masters has spare servers already racked, and can perform the restore within the same twelve-hour window.
