WWWeb Masters Introduces CPE System (Content "Push"
Engine)
Clinton Township, MI (February 21, 2000) ---
WWWeb Masters, Inc. of Clinton Township, Michigan announced today the introduction of its
Content "Push" Engine that enables content providers to automatically deliver
content to Web sites world wide. As a result, professional content providers such as news
agencies and media groups can now deliver content without redundancy in effort, improve
delivery times, improve efficiency, streamline workflow and maintain greater control over
their Internet content delivery.
Traditionally, professional publishers have employed a redundant systems of first
developing the content and then sending it on to affiliate sites via email or FTP (file
transfer protocol) who then format the content into HTML, PDF or other media types to
ready it for the Internet. "Not so with the CPE System" says Timothy Green.
Content creators such as news agencies and other media groups, writers, editors and
graphic artists simply log on to the CPE System through a simple to use web interface and
author their content into a data store. Text, pictures, audio, and videos are stored in
the central repository, and can be retrieved and edited at any time by any member of the
editorial team. Once the content is finalized, the content is turned "live" and
flows from the same central data store into CPEs pre-designed templates. The result
is content being uploaded centrally and "pushed" to hundreds or thousands of web
sites at once. A robust Web based template editing tool set is supplied so that the CPE
templates are completely user-defined.
More importantly, no client software is necessary when using the CPE System and can be
managed using the latest web browser. The CPE System is very flexible and can be set to
deliver the most recent content and refresh every few minutes or several days. Revising
the data store to make revisions, edits, such as replacing graphics or editing text, can
be executed easily. Once changes or additions are saved back to the data store, the CPE
System automatically updates all of the CPE enabled Web sites in real-time. The result is,
true database publishing of all media types.
The CPE System offers the MAM (Member Acquisition Module). This module allows content
providers to deliver end-user defined content while acquiring membership information from
site visitors. The result will be an end-user defined delivery system with statistical
reporting along with an opt-in membership and membership warehousing system.
Specific Features of the CPE System Include:
User defined content delivery time schedules
Unlimited user-defined template variations
Allows providers to leverage full value of content
Deliver just-in-time news headlines
Success CPE System Case Study:
Sportzwire.com a premier fitness content syndication uses the CPE System while
"pushing" content to over 50 fitness related web sites. Sportzwire.com finds the
ease of use and dynamic content rotation to be of the best features. Sportzwire.com
rotates and refreshes their news stories every 3 hours to keep all of their clients
sites fresh. Sportzwire.com just formed an alliance with a popular fitness portal
Musclemag.com to deliver several top stories to their front page. Sportzwire.com plans on
expanding its operation in delivering its content on a subscription basis to several
thousand Web sites world wide using the CPE System. Sportzwire is also implementing and
testing the MAM option at this time.
